Unannounced Project
From the studio behind the upcoming, multi award-winning game Paper Trail comes a new mechanic-driven, mind-bending adventure!
Founded by the BAFTA-winning creator of Hue, Newfangled has been hard at work developing their debut title Paper Trail, releasing on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Netflix Games later this year. The game has already picked up over 38 awards and accolades, including ‘Best Family Game’ at the Gamescom Awards, ‘Game of the Year’ at Reboot Develop, ‘Most Innovative’ at IndieX, and ‘Best International Game’ at SXSW Sydney. Entirely self-published, the game’s accumulated over 100,000 wishlists on Steam, been translated into 13 languages and secured a licensing deal with Netflix Games.
Newfangled’s follow on from Paper Trail looks to build on the team’s innovative, mechanic-driven philosophy, on an even more ambitious scale. To build out the vision, the team will be scaling up to be one of the largest game development studios in Norfolk, working closely with local Universities on internships and graduate roles.
